Dental Health Tip #2: Don't Skip The Floss
While everyone knows that dentists recommend that you brush your teeth twice per day, many people treat flossing as if it is a secondary recommendation. Further, most people don't know the proper way to floss. You will need to pull about a foot and a half of floss and wrap it around your fingers. One it is draped along your gum line, pull it into the shape of the letter C and then gently scrap food fragments from in between your gums, going tooth by tooth, on both rows.

Your diet will play a huge role in your oral health. The best way to keep your oral health in order is to make sure that your diet is alkaline rich, including plenty of fresh, organic vegetables and fruits. You can also get your fill of seeds and nuts, which are high in fiber and give your jaw much needed exercise. Be mindful of the sugary foods that you eat and know that foods high in grains can also create sticky residue that can be harmful to your teeth.
